The riding comfort is OK. A bit jerky on potholes. Very light weight and hence easily manageable in traffic. बजाज चेतक [2020 - 2024] Latest Updates
भारत की अग्रणी 2-व्हीलर निर्माता कंपनी बजाज ने चेतक इलेक्ट्रिक स्कूटर की डिलीवरी शुरू कर दी है। कंपनी ने इसे दो वेरिएंट अर्बन और प्रीमियम में पेश किया है। बेस मॉडल अर्बन की कीमत एक लाख रुपये और टॉप मॉडल प्रीमियम की प्राइस 1.15 लाख रुपये (एक्स-शोरूम) तय की गई है। बजाज चेतक के प्रीमियम वेरिएंट में आगे वाले पहियों में डिस्क ब्रेक दिए गए हैं जबकि अर्बन वेरिएंट में ड्रम ब्रेक दिए गए हैं। इसके अलावा दोनों वेरिएंट में कुछ कॉस्मेटिक अंतर भी किए गए हैं।
मेटल बॉडी से बने इस इलेक्ट्रिक स्कूटर की डिज़ाइन पुराने चेतक जैसी रखने की कोशिश की गई है। इसके साइड बॉडी पेनल को थोड़ा चौड़ा रखा गया है जो इसे रेट्रो लुक देते हैं। इसकी हेडलेंप और टर्न इंडिकेटर एलईडी हैं जबकि एलसीडी इंस्ट्रूमेंट क्लस्टर फुली डिजिटल है। इस इलेक्ट्रिक स्कूटर में स्मार्टफोन कनेक्टिविटी भी दी गई है और बजाज इसके लिए पहले साल फ्री डाटा भी मुहैया करा रही है। यह फीचर इंटरनेट ऑफ थिंग्स (आईओटी) के माध्यम से स्कूटर के साथ छेड़छाड़ करने या बैटरी चार्ज नहीं होने पर तुरंत स्कूटर ओनर को नोटिफिकेशन के जरिए इसकी जानकारी देगा। इस फीचर के जरिए स्कूटर की लोकेशन, चार्जिंग स्टेटस और शेष बैटरी चार्ज में तय की जाने वाली दूरी की जानकारी भी मिलेगी।
इस स्कूटर में ब्रशलेस डीसी मोटर दी गई है, जिसे 60.3एएच लिथियम आयन बैटरी पैक से पावर मिलती है। इसमें लगी इलेक्ट्रिक मोटर 5.47 एचपी की पावर और 16 एनएम का टॉर्क जनरेट करती है। बजाज के अनुसार ईको मोड में यह स्कूटर 95 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटा और स्पोर्ट्स मोड में 85 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटा की टॉप स्पीड पर दौड़ सकता है। इसकी बैटरी को कन्वेंशनल 5 एम्पियर पावर सॉकेट से 5 घंटे में फुल चार्ज किया जा सकता है, जबकि एक घंटे में इसकी बैटरी 25 प्रतिशत तक चार्ज हो जाती है। कंपनी इस स्कूटर पर बैटरी के साथ 3 साल या 50,000 किलोमीटर की वारंटी भी दे रही है। कंपनी के अनुसार इस स्कूटर के बैटरी की लाइफ 70,000 किलोमीटर जबकि इसका सर्विस इंटरवेल 12,000 किलोमीटर या एक साल है।
बजाज चेतक की राइडिंग को कंफर्टेबल बनाने के लिए इसमें वेस्पा की तरह आगे वाले पहियों में लीडिंग लिंक सस्पेंशन और पीछे वाले पहियों में मोनोशॉक सस्पेंशन दिए गए हैं। कीमत के मोर्चे पर यह मुख्य प्रतिद्वंदी आथर 450 से थोड़ा सस्ता है।
