About Hero Pleasure
The Hero Pleasure has been removed from the brand’s official website and is likely to have been discontinued. It was inevitable considering the company has already launched the all-new Pleasure Plus and updated the new scooter with BS6 compliance as well. On the other hand, the last major update which the Hero Pleasure received was back in 2017, when it received BS4 updates.
The Hero Pleasure was initially marketed to be a women-friendly scooter. The scooter was updated with a BS4-compliant engine, AHO (always headlamp on), new dual-tone body colours along with new body graphics in 2017. The new colours included matt grey & red, matt grey & yellow, matt grey & white, pearl white, fiery red, bold black and matt grey. The scooter also comes with Integrated Braking System (IBS), helping reduce the braking distance by almost 15 per cent.
Convenient features include a charging socket mounted in the front storage compartment, underseat boot light and a side stand indicator. The Pleasure is equipped with a 102cc, air-cooled, four-stroke engine mated to a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). Underpinnings include a trailing link type front suspension, rear single shock absorber, drum brakes on both ends with CBS as standard. In terms of rivals, it competes against the Honda Activa i and TVS Scooty Zest.

Pleasure Expert Review
The Hero Pleasure has been one of the company's popular models. This is partly due to its placement as a scooter for the fairer sex, dual-tone body colours and funky graphics.
Underneath all this, the Hero Pleasure packs a BSIV-compliant 102cc, air-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder engine. It churns out 7PS of power
at 7000rpm and a peak torque of 8.1Nm of torque at 5000rpm. Hero claims you can extract a fuel efficiency of 60kmpl out of the Pleasure.
Suspension duties are handled by bottom-link with spring-loaded hydraulic dampers at the front and a single-unit swing spring-loaded suspension at the rear. Braking hardware consists of 130mm drum brakes at the front and rear, with integrated IBS (Integrated Braking System). The IBS applies both brakes simultaneously while pressing the left lever. Another improvement comes in the form of a boot light in the underseat storage area. This helps riders access the storage area in dimly lit or dark places. The suspension comes with spring loaded hydraulic dampers at both ends. The tubeless tyres are the same at both ends - 90/100 x 10-53J”.
Coming to the visuals, the Pleasure sports a rather conventional design but in a compact package. This is done to make it more comfortable for women. The front end features an angular design, which now houses AHO headlamps. The headlight is now broader with twin pilot lamps pivoted at the top opposite corners. It ensures better visibility at night as well as the day time. A mobile charging port has been added for enhanced convenience. In addition to this, the instrument cluster now gets a side stand indicator. The Hero MotoCorp Pleasure is available in a wide range of colours to choose from: Beautiful Blue, Perky Purple, Gorgeous Green, Outgoing Orange, Playful Red & White, Witty White and Ravishing Red.
Design
Hero MotoCorp Pleasure gets an impressive design and looks like a mid-sized scooter. Its front profile now comes with a bigger multi reflector headlight with twin pilot lamps pivoted at its top corners. The scooter is bolted on a high rigidity underbone frame that serves as a tough skeleton for its body. The front apron also has clear lens turning indicators that are embedded in a triangular section, giving the scooter a premium touch. The rear end of the scooter has received some cosmetic upgrades as well. It now houses a sharp triangular tail lamp with clear lens blinkers blended within. The scooter has a front glove box and genuine under seat storage space to accommodate your helmet and other knick-knacks.
The vehicle measures 1750mm x 705mm x 1110mm (LxBxH) with a wheelbase of 1240mm. It has a minimum ground clearance of 125mm and sports a 5-litre fuel tank. The 765mm seat height makes the scooter easy to ride. The instrument cluster has been refreshed and includes a speedometer, fuel gauge and other vehicle-related information. The scooter weighs 101kg, making it a light and zippy 100cc two-wheeler.
Engine, Mileage & Performance
Propelling the Hero MotoCorp Pleasure is a 102cc, air-cooled, four-stroke engine that mates with a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) system. The single cylinder OHC mill generates a peak power of 7bhp at 7,000rpm with a maximum torque of 7.85Nm at 5,000rpm. The scooter uses CDI as its ignition system and dry automatic centrifugal clutch setup for its smoother operation. Hero MotoCorp claims a top speed of 77kmph for the vehicle. Apart from providing comfort and smoother performance, the scooter returns a decent combined fuel efficiency of 49kmpl to its rider.
Handling & Ride Quality
The scooter has 130mm drum brakes at both ends that are further paired with Integrated Braking System (IBS). The system involves the application of both the brakes while pressing the rear brake lever to enhance safety and stability. Hero MotoCorp Pleasure is also equipped with 90/100x10”-53 tubeless tyres at the front as well as rear that provide a better grip along with a lot of convenience. The tyres are mounted on 10-inch alloy wheels that looks stylish. The suspension system of the scooter includes bottom link with spring loaded hydraulic damper at the front and unit swing arm with spring loaded hydraulic damper at the rear.
Features
Hero MotoCorp Pleasure has an Integrated Braking System (IBS) that offers enhanced safety by applying both the brakes when the rider presses the rear brake lever only. The company has blessed the vehicle with many convenient features as well. Its underseat boot space gets a light, which proves useful in dark conditions. The Hero MotoCorp Pleasure also gets a mobile charging port in the glove box to ensure that your smartphone never runs out of juice. The scooter also sports tubeless tyres. It has a powerful headlamp consisting of a 12V-35W halogen type bulb that gives a brighter vision even in the darkest conditions.
