It's been years now since my dad has brought this 100 cc commuter at home, the Hero Passion Pro and now I am totally in love with this machine.
In terms of looks, it looks like a regular 100 cc bike which is mainly made for every day shuttling. It gets conventional halogen headlamp cluster up front. The Tank looks a bit good with some smart looking graphics. Completing the picture is a big looking tail lamp and a blacked out exhaust, to kick out the emission made by the engine.
The Hero Passion Pro also sports some decent amount of features to make your commuting much hassle free. The instrument cluster initiates an analogue speedometer on the left and a small digital display on the right, which provides information about the fuel, distance covered and service reminder. Moreover, it comes with features like electric start, pass light etc.
But, my riding experience is quite good. The Hero Passion Pro derives power from a 97.2 cc petrol mill, which churns out respective power and torque outputs of 8.2 bhp and 8.05 Nm. The engine is extremely efficient and is rated for 75 Kmpl. The fuel tank is enough for storing 12.5-litres of fuel at a time. In total, the Hero Passion Pro can cover a distance of 636 Km at once the petrol tank is fully topped up. The motor is agile in nature. The throttle response is impressive. The motorcycle is always ready to get into action as soon as you push yourself hard on the accelerator. The motorcycle can touch a top speed of 100 Kmph, which is quite unexpected from a 100 cc commuter.
The Hero Passion Pro gets an upright riding position. The motorcycle is very comfortable to ride. The mid-set foot pegs and the raised up handlebar gives the rider a more relaxed riding posture.
To easily counter the uneven patches and potholes, the Hero Passion Pro comes equipped with Telescopic Hydraulic Shock Absorbers up front and Swing Arm with Hydraulic Shock Absorber at the rear. In terms of safety, it gets a strong and sturdy body frame to easily counter heavy shocks at the time of the collision. The braking is done by a 130 mm front disc and a drum brake at the rear.
The Hero Passion Pro is a pocket-friendly motorcycle, it surely doesn't burn a hole in buyer's pocket. The motorcycle will always be in a pristine condition if a person will take the bike to the service centre after every 2000 km. The whole service procedure costs around Rs 600-700.
Coming to the verdict, the Hero Passion Pro is one of the best everyday commuter in its segment. The motorcycle is extremely efficient, quite powerful and affordable to maintain.

Pros- Fuel-efficient unit, cheap service cost, comfortable to ride.
Cons- Weak road presence, not recommended for highways.
