Is Maestro Edge 125 BS6 better than Activa 6G?

    • Bikedekho experts
    • on 17 Sep 2020

The new list of updates on India’s most popular scooter has made the Activa 6G a more exciting proposition than before. However, the Activa 6G still misses out on some basic features which should have been standard by now.. On the other hand, if we had to peg the Hero Maestro Edge 125 somewhere, we’d put it between the Honda Activa 125 and the TVS NTorq - it’s much more youthful compared to the Honda, but not as sporty as the NTorq. But while it is good to ride, it’s not what you might call an exciting scooter. The Maestro’s trump card, though, is its value-for-money proposition, offering quite a few features and tech such as the i3S and FI systems at a reasonable price. And that certainly makes it worth your consideration. You may compare both the scooters accordingly. Do take a test ride in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.

What features are offered in Hero Maestro Edge 125?

    • Bikedekho experts
    • on 17 Nov 2023

The standard Maestro Edge 125 isn’t kitted with a whole lot of modern features. It gets the standard set of features, including an external fuel filler cap, underseat USB charging, and a semi-digital info cluster. No LEDs for the headlight or turn indicators. It does get Hero’s patented i3S engine stop/start system either. For a premium, Hero also offers its 2021 range with a sleek segment-first LED projector headlamp, which Hero says will improve night visibility substantially, and a full-digital instrument console. The top-spec connected variant benefits from Bluetooth connectivity which gives costumes access to a host of features such as turn-by-turn navigation, passkey, missed call and other call alerts, real-time fuel efficiency, an Eco and a low fuel indicator. Hero’s dedicated app, which comes standard with the Connect variant, adds eight features including topple alert, theft alert, find my parking, track my vehicle, and trip analysis. You also have new colours to choose from. The connected variant, for instance, comes in two new prismatic colours: yellow and purple. The disc variant is available in six: red, black, silver, matt blue, Prismatic Yellow, and Prismatic Purple. As for the drum variant, it's available in four shades: red, black, silver, and matte blue.
