just ok.....
just ok.....
My review is based on riding over 10, 000 kms including city n mountainous roads.
I used to be a rough rider on Mumbai streets. I bought this bike as it would be easy getting over dividers n road side quickly to escape traffic jams and I also go for treks frequently.
Pros:
> This bike has got good suspensions to get over potholes / bumpers without slowing down.
> Engine has high ground clearance so it wont get hit easliy.
> Mileage which I got on steady running ( 55-65 km/hr) was about 50kms/hr.
> Nice and easy to cut through traffic but requires hands on initially.
> Nice grip of tyres on muddy roads or muddy/sandy tracks on road side which cant be offered by other bikes.
Cons:
> Rash riding (with high rpm) or above 75km/hr drops the mileage to 40 or 35. But that I guess is due to broad tyres which gives extra grip so mileage has to be parted.
> Net power is very low though it has a 150cc engine. If I get mileage of 35 during rash riding I expect high pickup too. But it doesn't have. This is the major drawback.
> Low power seems prominent when riding with a pillion. U really have to low down the gears and rev up the rpm to keep speed.
> Engine heating is more compared to other bikes but not a major concern.
> Not fit for ppl below 5'8".
My main purpose of buying this bike was off-road riding. But as I am 5'6" it sometimes get really hard for me to handle in slippery uneven terrains where we have to use our feet.
Sometimes I cant touch my feet on ground and have to tilt further to touch ground which gives a heavy load on my arms and that's a big pain. Couple of times I had a fall in steady mode as I couldn't handle the weight n feet not reachable.
MY ADVICE ---- BOYS BELOW 5'8"...don't even think of buying this bike.
For tall people this is a very nice bike if their PURPOSE is Both CITY and a bit of OFF-ROAD..
If your purpose is just city ride then don't buy this bike. Pickup is low. Extra fuel is burnt to make for broad studded tyre grip which is not required if your purpose is just clean city ride.
U can get some other 150cc bike which would give u better mileage even at high speed.
