The Hero HF Deluxe is one the most popular 100cc Hero bikes in India after the Hero Splendor Plus. It comes with a no-nonsense design, extremely fuel-efficient engine, and an affordable price tag. 

Price 

The Hero HF Deluxe is available in four variants, catering to various preferences. The pricing starts at Rs 61,620 for the base variant with a kick-start mechanism and spoke wheels. If you opt for the self-start variant without the i3S technology, it will be priced at Rs 67,268. For those interested in the Gold Black color scheme, this variant is available at Rs 68,068. The top-end variant, equipped with self-start, alloy wheels, and i3S technology, is priced at Rs 68,768. All prices ex-showroom Delhi.

Features

In terms of design, the Hero HF Deluxe maintains a fairly conventional appearance, albeit with a touch of style compared to the Splendor. It retains some traditional elements, lacking LED lighting and digital instrumentation. Instead, it features an analog console providing basic data such as speed and fuel levels, complemented by indicator lights. The more affordable Hero HF 100 model is available in an all-black color scheme with red and grey accents, along with simplified blacked-out grab rails. Notably, this variant does not include an electric starter, but it does offer an optional USB charger.

Engine

The Hero HF Deluxe is powered by a 97.2cc engine that complies with the new OBD 2 emission standard. This engine maintains its performance figures at 8PS power and 8.05Nm torque, with no alterations. Additionally, the 4-speed gearbox remains unchanged.

Suspension & Brakes

The mechanical aspects of the Hero HF Deluxe remain consistent. Its sturdy double-cradle frame is supported by a telescopic fork and two-step preload-adjustable twin shocks. The bike is equipped with 130mm drum brakes on both the front and rear wheels. It rolls on 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped with 2.75-inch tyres at both ends. The HF Deluxe weighs 110kg for the kick start variant and 112kg for the electric start version, both kerb. It gets a 805mm tall seat, a decent 165mm ground clearance, and a 9.6-litre fuel tank.

The Hero HF Deluxe has consistently secured its position as one of India's top-selling two-wheelers, occasionally surpassing the Hero Splendor. Its primary competitors include the Bajaj CT 110X and Bajaj Platina 100. However, within a similar price range, consumers can explore alternatives such as the TVS XL100, TVS Scooty Pep Plus, and the Bajaj Platina 110.
