April 06, 2016: Hero MotoCorp earlier launched the updated version of its popular sportbike - Hunk, that comes with minimal visual changes and test equipment on it. The bike is well equipped with front and rear suspensions with GRS (gas charged unit) at the rear. Apart from that, the spark plug has also been turned Black along with engine sporting Honda tag in Red color. Moreover, the bike is predicted to have the same motor tuned to develop more power and torque output. The bike is propelled by a 149.2cc, four-stroke mill that develops 14.2bhp of power and 12.8Nm of torque. The manufacturing company facelifted it and now the bike comes with a digital instrumentation, LED tail lamp unit and a revised front cowl. Apart from this, the company offers it with a wide range of colors i.e. Blazing Red, Bold Brown, Ebony Grey, Force Silver, Marine Green, Panther Black and Sports Red.

The company “Hero MotoCorp” launched its muscular 150cc motorcycle christened as “Hunk” back in 2007 under the stable of the country’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer. Hero MotoCorp Hunk is one of the most admired bikes in India, so the manufacturing company redesigned it with some additional majestic characteristics in the year 2011. The bike has seen some impressive sales numbers ever since its launch and has succeeded pretty well in satisfying its riders.
The manufacturer of this bike offers it with a 149.2cc, air-cooled, four-stroke engine that develops a peak power of 14.2bhp at 8,500rpm with a maximum torque of 12.8Nm at 6,500rpm. Apart from this, it has five-speed constant mesh gearbox with a one-down, four-up configuration that is linked to a wet multiplate clutch assembly for the transmission of power. Furthermore, it has installed AMI - Advanced Microprocessor Ignition System that give a quick start-up like its other 150cc models.
The bike comes with a set of grippy tyres 80/100 x 18-47P at the front end and 100 / 90 X 18 -56P at the rear end, that offers a good constancy on the road. Moreover, the company also offers it with a braking kit, that comes with a 240mm front disc brake along with a 130mm rear drum brake to give premium braking potential. Apart from this, it is also configured with an optional 220mm rear disc brake that provide a better bite in comparison to the formal drum brakes. The front section of the bike has a sporty headlamp that looks so elegant with the rear view mirrors along with a digital speedometer, an analogue tachometer, trip meter and fuel gauge. The sharply designed fuel tank with fashionable fuel tank cowls look stunning and provides a good riding position. Moreover, it is configured with a sporty step-up seat and a dark colored rear grab rail that amend its visual aspect. Bike with good balance, look and average. Average is about 40 km/hr. Nice and attractive look. Anyone can easily handle it with out and hurdles. I bought this bike after it was recommended by 7-8 people to me. It requires less maintainance as compared to other bikes. Alter sales services are at its best, hero motocorp is best that. Its mileage is average but looks enough. Engine sound is very nice. However front shock observer is not so good. Sometimes rear drum brakes make sound which is irritating. Its much better than other bikes like pulsar 150....
It is the best bike available in 150cc segment, I am saying this because it is almost 8 years with Hunk and the maintenance cost as compared to other bikes is less in hunk.
