Emflux One Highlights
20th August 2018: Founded back in 2016, Emflux Motors is India's first ever electric superbike company. And, its first offering is the Emflux Model One, a fully-faired electric superbike which can sprint from 0-100kmph in just 3 seconds and hit a top speed of 200kmph. The Model One gets a liquid-cooled AC induction motor, which is powered by Samsung’s lithium-ion battery. The motor is capable of churning out a max power of 72PS and a peak torque of 84Nm at 8,400rpm. The bike comes with a range of 200Km and the battery can be recharged up to 80 per cent in just over half an hour. The bike boasts a number of features like a GPS navigation system, a 6.8-inch TFT screen, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and real-time vehicle diagnostics. The bike is on offer with a mobile app for remote customisation and bike-to-bike connectivity. Built on the tubular steel trellis frame, the bike rides on 43mm USD front forks (upgradable to Ohlins Race and Track USD fork) and a gas-charged monoshock unit at the rear (upgradable to Ohlins 46mm Monotube Gas Shock). On the braking front, it gets Brembo-powered 300mm dual-disc brakes at the front and a single 220mm disc at the rear. The bike also features a dual-channel ABS system and regenerative braking. The 17-inch wheels come wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres - 120/70-R17 at the front and 180/55-R17 at the rear. The superbike will launch in March 2019 and is to be priced between Rs 5-6 Lakh (ex-showroom).
