Though it is best-suited cor city commutes only, you can go for long rides with it too. But be will not suggest you to take it for long rides on a regular basis. It puts out 10.9PS and 10.8Nm and here it is mated to a 5-speed transmission, hence it delivers better performance. The motor packs strong bottom and mid-range punch, perfect for urban riding conditions. You have enough grunt to comfortably pull off overtakes and place the bike where you want it in traffic. Sure, power does trail off towards the top-end and a few vibes creep into the bars, but this isn’t a bike that you’re going to be revving the nuts off anyway. This achievement is all the more impressive when you consider that Honda is also claiming 16 percent higher fuel efficiency than the CB Shine. The instantaneous fuel efficiency readout frequently showed us figures north of 65kmpl when riding in the city, but we shall reserve our opinion until we can conduct a proper road test. The seat is well padded and sits just 790mm off the deck, making it very accessible to riders of all heights. The slim profile of the motorcycle further aids you in getting your feet down. Don’t be fooled into thinking that the SP’s saddle is short on space, though. There is ample real estate on offer for both rider and pillion. The seat is a single-piece unit but features a slight step and has been squared off at the rear to maximise space. Do take a test ride in order to get better clarity. The SP 125 is among the best motorcycles launched by Honda in the recent past. It’s refined, fun to ride, frugal and offers a good list of features. On the other hand, the Pulsar 125 Neon gives enthusiasts a taste of the Pulsar’s sporty DNA but in a less intimidating and more affordable package. However, its lower-than-its-class fuel-efficiency may not appeal to the more conservative 125cc buyers. From that aspect, the Glamour and SP 125 still better bet. You may compare both the cars according to their variants too. Do take a test ride in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details. Read More
