    This Glamour 125 Fi has got a new diamond frame instead of the tubular double cradle chassis seen on the previous model. It offers better rigidity and handling. Using the new frame has helped in increasing the ground clearance and suspension travel which offers better command over the road. Hero claims the front telescopic front fork offers 14 per cent more travel up front and 10 per cent at the rear. This is enough for the bike to go over bad roads effortlessly.The new, fuel-injected, BS6-compliant 125cc motor makes around 11PS at 7,500rpm and 10.6Nm at 6,000rpm. Hero claims the power output in the BS6 variant is 19 per cent more than the first-gen Glamour. More importantly, Hero has equipped the new Glamour with a five-speed gearbox instead of the four-speed gearbox in the previous iteration.On the other hand, Honda SP 125 Bs6 gets a 124 cc engine which produces 10.9PS and 10.9Nm, which is actually 0.6PS and 0.6Nm more than the Shine’s output but less than Glamour 125 Bs6\'s output. What further sweetens the pot is the claimed 16 per cent higher fuel-efficiency returned by the SP 125. Another area where a forward step has been taken by Honda is engine refinement - the motor on the SP feels butter smooth and is completely devoid of vibrations throughout nearly the entire rev range. What further adds to the premium quotient is the ACG silent starter that Honda has thrown in. So in the engine department, the new bike is a big improvement over its predecessor. It gets LED headlight which misses out in Glamour BS6. The suspension has been suitably stiffened on the SP 125 but ride quality is still quite comfortable with just a lightweight solo rider onboard. With a heavier rider or a pillion onboard though, sharp edges do filter through.So, Ultimately, choosing one boils down to your needs and wants.
