Yamaha Training School Inaugurated In Delhi

Started in 2013, Yamaha has inaugurated 22 technical training schools in India including the recent one in Delhi at Don Bosco Yuva Kendra.

Adding another mile in the journey to provide better technical support to its customers India Yamaha Motor Pvt Ltd inaugurated its 22nd Yamaha Training School (YTS) in the country. The centre is located at the premises of Don Bosco Yuva Kendra which is one of the prestigious technical skill development institutes at Nangloi Road, Najafgarh in New Delhi. The ‘Centre of Excellence’ from Yamaha will provide two-wheeler technical training to youngsters which will enable them to become expert two-wheeler technicians. After that, they could be employed gainfully at Yamaha dealerships to offer productive contributions to the automotive sector.

Present at the YTS inauguration event, Masaki Asano, managing director, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt Ltd said, “The existing skills gap in the industry can be reduced by imparting technical training to younger generations, as India is on its way to becoming an economic powerhouse. Yamaha as a brand catering to youngsters has addressed the matter with great responsibility. United in vision & aspirations with today’s young generation, Yamaha’s drive of transformation enabled by training young talents and providing placement assistance will empower them to be job-ready, living up to the expectation of Yamaha being a socially responsible company.”

Aiming to launch Yamaha Technical Academy (YTA) certified YTS across India, India Yamaha Motor Pvt Ltd is poised to partner with government/private technical institutes and reputed NGOs in the country. These training schools will endeavour to encourage the relatively indigent youngsters to master Yamaha technology and get employed at company dealerships.

Yamaha’s first YTS was started in association with Dayal Bagh Engineering Institute, Agra in 2013. Since then, the company has inaugurated a total of 22 Yamaha Training Schools across India, including the one recently launched in Delhi, and is looking forward to increasing the figure in the coming months.
