Powering the bike is a 411cc, air-cooled, SOHC, four-stroke engine that has been coupled to a five-speed transmission. The motor churns out a maximum power of 24.5bhp along with 32Nm of maximum torque. The bike has been assisted with off-road Ceat tyres to offer a good road grip and stability. The front receives a big transparent windshield along with panniers to hold some stuff. The Himalayan will come equipped with dual disc brakes to take care of the braking duties. However, ABS will not be on offer. The analog-digital instrument cluster of the machine is highly informative and comprises of speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, compass and much more.

As shared earlier by us, the bike will be launched at a price of Rs. 1.60 lac (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will come in two colours - Black and White. The launch will take place in March after a media ride that has been scheduled later this month.
