Red Bull Announced Of Road To Rookies Cup!

Be it adventure sports, freestyle riding, air race or track racing, one name that remains reminiscent to all the action is Red Bull. This time around, it has announced the 2016 edition of the Red Bull Road To Rookies Cup. The announcement was be made by the 10 time National Champion, Rajini Krishnan along with the two-time world stunt riding champion, Aras Gibieza. This competition gives a chance to the young riders of the country to enter the professional world of Moto Racing. Winners in the Road To Rookies Cup get a chance to represent India in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup qualifiers in Spain. 

The competition calls for racers of 13 to 17 year of age. This is a fresh concept in india, which churns talents from a very young age in the field of MotoGP. Before the announcement, Rajini Krishnan and Aras Gibieza heated up the tyers on their race tuned Suzuki Gixxer bike in an exciting race, which resulted in Rajini taking the win. We bring to you live action from the ECR Speedway in Chennai.

This cup is one of the best ways into the world of Grand Prix motorcycle racing. With its start in 2007, the event has witnessed rapid growth and has emerged as one of the most thrilling two-wheel spectacles of the world. Both the Moto2 and Moto3 world champions in 2015 were ex-rookies cup racers. Every year the level of competition rises and this year, in the tenth running of the Cup, the bar is ready to be set even higher.
