Yamaha FZ1

We can't say what Yamaha Motor India is up to, however, the company is continuously removing old products from its website. After FZ-S Ver 1.0, Fazer Ver 1.0, Crux and Ray, now the company has taken off its naked sport superbike- FZ1 from its product list. Before that, the company has already launched a new machine in the similar segment- MT-09 in at 2016 Auto Expo with a price tag of Rs. 10.20 lac (ex-showroom, Delhi). So, we can say that the new product might have replaced the new one from the company's line-up.

Although, the performance of the inline-triple powered MT-09 is not comparable to the inline-four powered FZ1, prices of the products are almost similar. The MT-09 is just around Rs. 50,000 cheaper than the FZ1, however, the new one in much advanced along with a fresh styling.

Yamaha MT-09 is represented by the company as the "Icon Of Darkness" that can be seen in its predator like appearance. With a compact chassis and high-torque 3-cylinder engine, this performance machine is designed for riders who appreciate character and soul.

The beating heart of this animal is a lightweight 847cc, liquid-cooled, 3-cylinder engine that kicks out a wide band of raw power up to 113.4bhp and a linear torque up to 87.5Nm giving outstanding acceleration that gets your adrenaline flowing.

And for agile handling this dynamic naked motard-style bike is equipped with a compact aluminium chassis, Traction Control System (TCS), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and upright riding position that make light work of everything - from weekday urban riding through to Sunday morning blasts.
