One of the world's most premium performance motorcycles manufacturers, MV Agusta today announced its official entry into the Indian market in partnership with Pune-based Kinetic Group. The Italian brand will operate in the country as MV Agusta India Pvt Ltd, with its exclusive dealerships opening under the name “Motoroyale”. The company has launched three superbikes in India -- the Brutale 1090, the F4 and the F3 800.

Commenting on the launch, Mr Ajinkya Firodia, managing director, MV Agusta India Pvt Ltd, said, "We are excited to partner with an illustrious brand like MV Agusta to bring their iconic bikes into the country. For any biking enthusiast, MV Agusta motorcycles are the stuff dreams are made of, as they offer an unparalleled blend of power, performance and handling. The iconic styling and peerless riding dynamics of these machines underline MV Agusta's tagline of Passion Precisely Crafted. We will be marketing these superbikes through our exclusive 'Motoroyale' showrooms. It is a new chain of superbike showrooms, which will make some of the best bikes in the world accessible to motorcycle enthusiasts in India."

MV Agusta has inaugurated its first dealership in Pune, which will soon be followed by Motoroyale dealerships in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai. These showrooms will be focused on offering a world-class experience of sales, spares and after- sales support to MV Agusta customers in India.

The range of MV Agusta superbikes in India starts with the F3 800, one of the best middle-weight superbikes globally, priced at Rs. 16.78 lakh. The litre-class MV Agusta F4 carries a price tag of Rs. 26.87 lakh, while its top-end RR version is priced at Rs. 35.71 lakh. The company has also launched a high-performance streetfighter -- the Brutale 1090 -- along with its more premium RR version for Rs. 20.10 lakh and Rs. 24.78 lakh, respectively. (All prices are ex-showroom, Pune)

The MV Agusta F3 is arriving in Indian shores as SKD (semi-knocked down) units while the other machines are taking the CBU (completely built unit) route. The company is also planning to bring in the latest version of the Brutale 800, which was globally introduced recently. We expect it to be launched in the country by late 2016 while the MV Agusta Rivale is also being considered for the Indian market.
