CBR250RR

CBR 250RR concept which was displayed by Japanese manufacturer Honda in bare carbon fibre at the Tokyo Motor Show was treat to eyes. According to reports this concept is very close to its production and might be launched in August this year. CBR 250RR is expected to have a parallel twin motor and will list under the premium quarter-litre segment. The company is most likely to avoid its home Japan as the place of production to keep the cost low, instead going for Thailand or Indonesia.

The automaker will now focus on making the CBR 250RR performance oriented unlike its siblings CBR250R and CBR350R, which are for sports touring. If rumours are to be believed, the new CBR 2500RR will have an aggressive design, sharp body lines, sculpted fuel tank and chiseled tail section to make it visually appealing. The chassis of the bike will be made keeping in mind the better handling dynamics and the clip handlebars along with rear-set footpegs will offer a sport riding posture. For a comfortable ride, the bike will have USD front forks and a mono shock unit at the back.

The bike expected to have petal disc brake at front and ABS at the rear is to come as standard. Details about the engine are not yet disclosed, but be ready to welcome a machine with an upgraded 250cc parallel twin that would generate a power of 34 to 37bhp. To match it with the modern day likes, Honda would equip this machine with traction control and various ride modes.
