Awesome commuter in cheapest price

Awesome commuter in cheapest price

I am writing this review after 45,000 kilometers . Design of the bike gives WOW factors at first look. The DOOM and Tank adds more attractive and sportive look to this bike. It 's definitely male. Digital ODO ,trip meter and handle bar lights are useful features. Head light power is not bad.
Millage is the best in class segment. If your ODO clocks below 60 kmph without pillion rider, bike Gives around 50 kmpl in city and above 55 in Highway. But with pillion rider or above 70KMPH , i never get above 45 KMPL . P150 can be cruised above 120 kmph if maintained properly. Pick up is moderate. Gears are too bad. It goes to false neutral every time you change the gear in slow speeds.

I have ridden 500 kms in a single day. Engine was still able to perform better. But it gives more back pain. The shock absorber is very hard. It is not suitable for long rides or rough roads. Bike weight gives more stability and confidence in high speeds too.
Considering after sales services , I would suggest everyone to do services of your bajaj vehicle in local mechanic shop after all your free service ends. Otherwise you will need to pay sky high amount (~2000 Rs per 3000 KM) which more than diesel car maintenance charges. This bike requires only oil changes after every 3000 kms and air filter, spark plug and brake shoe changes at every 10000 kms . The total maintenance cost for 10000 kms will be less than 1500 rs. For the much better performance and smooth engine , you may go with synthetic oils (Motul 300V -1000 rs) which is used for 10000 kms and Bosch spark plugs ( 2 park plugs = 220 rs) .This is also never exceed 1500 rs per 10000 kms. Please never never go with Bajaj authorized service centers (especially AKS Bajaj service center in Coimbatore).

Overall , pulsar 150 is the good option if you look for average performance and economical sport(look) bike.
