I own a 10 year old Bajaj platina 100cc bike. Recently while shifting gear suddenly clutch lost its tension incable. I checked for cable breakage. But cable was not broken. Request you all to give me probable reasons forthis issue. My bike has done 80000 km without clutch plate change. I did not experience power loss or stuckgear shifting indicating clutch wear and tear. Kindly suggest BikeDekho

A. There might be some damage in the clutch wire spring(At engine end), which is used to keep the wire in position.We would suggest you to get your bike checked at nearest authorised service center in order to get better help.
