I had purchased Bajaj Discover 125STD in month of Jan 2014. As on today I see very good mileage even at low gears/low speed (1st & 2nd gear).
However tight gears would definitely trouble for other bike users. If it is maintained carefully, mileage and good looks can be retained for a long time. I use 8-10m every day, I spend 500 rupees fuel per month which is good enough for my requirement including weekend travels.
But for sure, the first 100-150km are really tough task to ride, as the engine is new. Bike is worthful if maintained well.
