The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is a 200cc performance-oriented naked bike. Its engine is derived from the KTM 200 Duke and was the first Bajaj bike to roll out of the Bajaj-KTM partnership in 2012. Back then, it was also the most powerful bike from Bajaj. The 2024 model gets a few updates, such as a redesigned LED headlight and an all-LCD instrument console.

Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Engine

The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 gets a BS6.2-compliant, 199.5cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine making 24.5PS at 9750rpm and 18.74Nm at 8000rpm. The engine comes with a 6-speed gearbox. The tested real-world mileage of the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is 40.84kmpl in the city and 40.36kmpl on the highway.

The new Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is built on a perimeter frame. It gets an inverted fork and a monoshock. For braking, it gets a 300mm disc at the front and a 230mm disc at the rear, with dual-channel ABS as standard. The Pulsar NS200 has 17-inch wheels and it features a 100-section front and 130-section rear tubeless tyre.

It gets a ground clearance of 168mm and a kerb weight of 158kg. The Pulsar NS200 has a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is equipped with an LED headlight accompanied by LED DRLs, while the taillight and indicators are also LED. The updated version gets a fully digital LCD instrument console with smartphone connectivity for call and SMS alerts, phone battery and signal levels, and turn-by-turn navigation. It also gives useful readouts like distance-to-empty, real-time mileage indicator, and a gear position indicator. All this is in addition to providing essential information such as speed, fuel level, odometer readings, and tripmeter data.
