Superb performace

Driven 360km since 22Oct2016. Pro is is its unmatched performace in the scooter category. I feel this vehicle should not be compared with conventional 110-125cc scooters too. The extra 25CC and Aprilia engineering has destroyed the competition. This scooter can VERY comfortably cruise at 60-70kmph. I am not sure of the competition. Made for the smooth highway. Will generate very good confidence at corners, very flickable scooter (in fact I am having fun besting most 150cc bike drivers on this front). Actually unless you are a good driver you won't beat this scooter even with the 150cc bikes in the market in city traffic. Considering the performance I feel the mileage is reasonable, actually good. Most scooters with lower CC do not walk the talk on the mileage front and should not be driven above 65kmph due to the braking limitations, stability issues. Should mention if we use both brakes together Aprilia again has much better good stopping power than competition.

I also feel that this Scooter is very suited for highway commutes due to easy capacity to hold to 60-70kmph speeds and should be actually classified as a gearless bike.

Cons:
Under seat storage and saddle height. This scooter will give a big problem to people with short legs at signals or slow traffic. So most ladies and people below 170cm will have trouble. Much is made of legroom which is only an issue if you have pillion. (I am 170cm)
Another minor issue is "Stiff" suspension with can truly bother a person on rough roads..So this bike is not for people with bad backs and/or if driven only on bad roads. But you adjust to the suspension with time and never forget we do not deserve the roads we get from our Government. As the speed increases the suspension seems to get more comfortable.

Verdict : Positive.Go for this bike if you enjoy driving. It has set a performance bench mark for scooter category.
(I drove an Activa for 15years. I personally feel the performace of my Activa was not replicated from the latest variants. I still own one and extended the period of use by another 5 years).
