    Ampere Vehicles has discontinued the Magnus 60 lead-acid variant. It’s replaced by the Ampere Magnus Pro which was launched in India at Rs 73,990 (ex-showroom Bengaluru). You wouldn't face issues in the rainy season as the battery and motor are both insulated and tested. Ampere Magnus Pro is powered by a 1200W motor which helps the scooter accelerate from 0-40kmph in 10 seconds. The claimed top speed stands at 55kmph. The Magnus Pro offers a range of 100km in Eco mode and 80km in Cruise mode thanks to its removable lithium-ion battery. It takes about 5-6 hours to fully charge.
