Vibgyor Group, Kolkata based, was founded in 2002 and it entered in two-wheeler production with a new venture, Vibgyor Vehicles, in the year 2009. The company appointed Saurav Ganguly, Ex-Indian cricket team captain, as its brand ambassador. The company launched its first Vibgyor bike in India in the name of Gallop 100cc in Kolkata. After the launch of Vibgyor Gallop, it launched Vibgyor Hunter and Vibgyor Shark at Delhi Auto Expo 2010. The founder of the company is Raja Badra who is the CMD of the company. The company has initially earmarked Rs 660 crore for automobile business. It has its manufacturing facility at Dhulagori (Howrah), West Bengal. It also plans to have assembly plants in Gujarat, Lucknow and Hyderabad. The company expects to grab 5 per cent marketshare in two-wheeler industry with sales of five lakh Vibgyor bikes by 2011. The company also export its bikes in Bangladesh.
