23rd Spt, 2015: Suzuki has introduced its premium 150cc bike Christened as Suzuki GS150R, which is propelled by a 149.1cc, air-cooled, four-stroke engine. The Japanese Manufacturing company offered it with a muscular body structure which makes it stand out among the India’s most elegant 150cc bikes. The bike also comes with visionary rpm blinkers which is acquired from the well known GSX-R series. The company configured it with amazing body graphics along with three awesome colors i.e. Pearl Mirage White, Candy Antares Red and Glass Sparkle Black.

Suzuki GS150R is the only 150cc motorcycle offered by the Japanese company, which is currently on sale in India. It is blessed with elegant look and sporty visuals, which make it stand robust against other other leading 150cc players of the country. Yet, the bike doesn’t get enough appreciation from the customers in the country and is one of the rarest 150cc motorcycle, which can be seen on the Indian roads.
Powered by a 149.1cc, air-cooled, four-stroke engine which is mated to a six-speed constant mesh gearbox, this mill churns out a maximum power of 13.8 bhp at 8500 RPM with a maximum torque of 13.4 Nm at 6000 RPM. It moves on 2.75-18 42P front and 100/90-18 M/C 56P rear tyres that offer a superior bite on the road. The bike is equipped with suspension system which comprises of telescopic forks at the front and oil damped, gas charged shock absorbers at the rear. Besides this, it comes with a 240mm front hydraulic disc brake with a 130mm rear drum brake, which provides the superb stopping power.
Graphics of the bike are very sharp which gives it a massive look. The front profile of the bike comes with a sporty cowl incorporated with a powerful headlight and twin pilot lamps. It has a beautifully chiseled fuel tank that looks dashing and offers a good riding posture to the rider. Talking about rear, it has a decent LED tail lamp unit which consists of clear lens turning blinkers as well. The bike comes with an overall dimensions of 2095 mm in length, 785 mm in width and 1120 mm in height along with a wheelbase and minimum ground clearance of 1335 mm and 160 mm respectively.
This motorcycle has a huge fuel tank of 15.5 liters capacity which is really helpful in longer road trips. Now comes to the machine’s cockpit, the manufacturing company offered it with an advanced rpm blinker which become operational at the time of optimum gearshift. The bike is blessed with dual riding modes so the rider has an option to either avail a maximum fuel economy or to unleash full power of the bike. The instrument console comprises of a digital speedometer, tripmeter, fuel gauge, gear position display and an analogue tachometer.
Design:
The motorcycle comes with an overall body measurement of 2095 mm in length, 785 mm in width and 1120 mm in height. The front fascia comes with a sharp headlamp design incorporated with twin pilot lamps that looks amazing. Furthermore, there is a huge fuel tank that looks magnificent and assists the riding position. The bike has a well-cushioned, long and comfortable step-up seat, which offers a smooth and hassle-free ride to both the rider and the pillion. Some chrome is added to the side panels that says “6-Speed” proudly. Coming to the rear, It is bestowed with a fashionable LED tail lamp unit that comes incorporated with clear lens turning blinkers.
The motorcycle comes with a wheelbase of 1335 mm which provide a good handling feature to the rider. Ground clearance sits at 160 mm that give a good ride quality and stability. The bike is fitted with a 15.5 liter fuel tank that gives it a long run without frequent refueling. The instrument console includes a digital speedometer, tripmeter, fuel gauge and an analogue tachometer. Apart from this, the bike furnished with an amazing GSX-R inspired rpm indicator that blinks at the time of optimum gearshift. Furthermore, the bike bestowed with dual riding modes i.e. Economy and Power, which enable the rider to adjust the ride according to his requirement.
