It was Love at First Sight. I am a big fan of Vespa scooter and owns LML vespa 150NV. after seeing the vespa 125 i was thrilled. the scooter seems to be eye catching in the crowd. the classic design is classic and is really outstanding. colors are fabulous. GOOD: a. Fuel injection is the one which keeps it separate from other brands. b. Good that no digital meters are available else it will show wrong reading always, specially the speed. needs calibration always at every service. c. Digital clock is optionally good. d. Steel body is good as safety is concern, but will be costly in case of repair is needed. e. Nice easy and freely removable helmet compartment for cleaning. easy to remove and clean spark plug. f. Nicely placed CG, seems to be balanced at slow moving and turning as compared to activa and access. g. Glove compartment can be opened while engine is on. BAD: a. Chrome finishing : not good for salty and humid environment like Mumbai. need very frequent cleaning. very serious, vespa need to rethink about this. b. Bad finishing and open space in control switches and cannot withstand heavy rains of Mumbai. c. Metal Body: more millage if it is fiber body. heavier then other brands. d. PRICE : too Heavy... 65 to 70 is ok, thane octroi paid is 78K including some accessories. e. Service : CANT SAY. f. Maintenance : CANT SAY. HELMETS : Original helmets are stunning and one should buy along with the scooter.
