Hi friends I am not a regular costumer of two wheelers but today I am watching a movie on the computer and I connect my phone to use the internet service, I saw the promos of the scooter which is having a classic style. I call one of my friends to ask which company of scooter it is and he told me that the Italian group Piaggio company has launched their Piaggio Vespa scooter in India with a classic look. I said only that I want to do a test drive of this scooter because I am fallen in love with this scooter.

Piaggio bikes are not so popular in the Indian market, so this would also be a negative point of the company but after the launched of Piaggio Vespa LX 125 cc scooter in the Indian two wheeler market, the company is getting good response from the consumers. The negative thing of the scooter is the price of the scooter which is a major factor for me because the features the Piaggio Vespa has, are already available in Honda Activa and Hero Pleasure which come in affordable price range.

Piaggio company in order to sell the scooter more aggressively has to plan something bigger if they want to expand their business in India. The all new scooter Piaggio Vespa mileage is pretty good as it is offering 50 kmpl which is pretty good as compared to the other automatic scooters in the market. Acceleration of the Vespa LX 125 scooter is quite good as it catches a speed of 0-60 km/h within 8-9 seconds. So I am going for it. All in all a good scooter but price I think may br very high as Piaggio Vespa Price has been fixed at Rs. 66,000. Piaggio India have to do something differently to stay in this segment.

Vespa 125 though has got stunner looks, it still is not worth the money. The plastics used in the swiches looks very cheap

Also it does not have disc brakes which should be must considerning the high cost of the scooter.

had a test drive, appearence very good, engine sound was loud compared to activa,cost too high, no exchange offer available
