Research on Honda Stunner CBF

Pros : Best Handling in 125 CC category. Never felt that, I had to opt for a 150 CC.
Cons : Chain sprocket delicate, Carburettor fuel adjustment not possible online

I was completely satisfied with the bike even after 30,000 Kms in 2 years 6 months after purchase. My daily travel is approx 46 kms. There was no problem untill the Honda serive centre near Margao_Goa, overtightened the chain and the sprocket was damaged. I replaced the sprocket, after letting HMSI about this. HMSI Gurgaon, sent their representative from Pune office to Goa dealer, only to receive their hospitality and not to resolve my problem. After 29000 kms I got bike serviced from same dealer. I chaged the handle bar main bearing set, overhauled the front shocks and asked the service personnel to clean the carburettor. I was charged for carburettor. From the next day bike did not start in first kick which it always did till that date. And, one fine day while riding upto office bike engine stalled and stopped. Initially I suspected fuel drain, but it was not to be the reason. When checked by a mechanic , it was failed start up coil, @ 1000.00+ service cost. last time I serviced @ 2800.00 Wonder, I better drive a diesel car now and sell this Honda in scrap, so frustrated I am with their service.

I agree with Brother I am also having the same problem. with my stunner buying at july 2009.
