I recently purchased a Honda Dio motoscooter after extensive research, I have to say that it is best among the lot, please everyone don't compare with the likes of Activa or Aviator, I seriously think scooters should also have a level like we have for 4 wheelers..there are some in lower segment and some in higher, so it is a basic entry level scooter, so I say it's a good in its own class. now some points to share with all : Start up problems : This was shared by the workshop person, trick is to self start with the left brake pressed, also advisable is to kick start in morning. He told Activa and for that matter any machine is no different, it take time for engine to warm up when it's cold. Also depends on the condition of battery, as your battery gets old it's performance decreases and self start in the morning overloads battery and thus lower life! so if you want better performance over a long run...kick start in mornings is the key mileage: well if you see on the speedometer there is a green indication which says economy, if you run in that speed range I am sure you would have longer run with the fuel in tank. Also mileage depends on laiden weight an 80 kg person driving compared to a 60 kg one would give better mileage simple mathematics..see these are light weight machines so it's more applicable. Also how you accelerate in a nutshell driving habits count. I hope these points would prove useful
