Yamaha registered 70 per cent growth

Yamaha Motors, one of the successful two wheeler manufacturer of India reported a tremendous growth of 30.7% accounting a total sale of 3,50,264 units in the year 2010 being 2,67,895 units in the previous year. Domestic growth of the company as well is remarkable with 18.5% and the total domestic sales for year 2010 measured to be 2,58,987 which is 40,362 units more than that of the last year. The company's most famous bike models comprises to be Yamaha SZ, Yamaha FZ and Yamaha R15 which have contributed the most in its growth.

The most trusted company of Indian customers recorded spectacular exports with a growth of 85% which is achieved by selling 91,277 motor bikes in 2010 being just 49,270 units in the year 2009. In the month of December 2010 alone, the famous Yamaha Motors accounted a sale of 34,839 which is 14,310 units more as compared to the sales of previous year. The company is still planning to further increase its sales inculcating the motor bike models with all advanced and more efficient features.

The company succeeded well enough with its 150+ cc engine of SZ series and has reached up to a limit of 1000 cc engine capacity launching the Yamaha FZ1 in the month of December with which is also flourishing good in the market.
