The Indian racing team Tork India is all set and ready for 2012. The race machine for Tork India is pretty powerful. In the year of 2009, the Indian guys landed at the Isle of Man TT and T001x, their sturdy race machine was under the supervision of XXXXxxx who finished 3rd defeating some flourished and booming electric bike manufacturer.

Yamaha is a very well known in the world of racing bikes, with Yamaha YZF R15, there is also Yamaha R1, which is counted in one of the best racing bike manufactured by the company till now. The new race machine, T001x is based around the platform of Yamaha YZF R15, which is powered by Li-on battery and managed to be at the 3rd position and all because of 30 Nm of torque, which was accompanied with feather weight arrangement. It represented it with exceptional ratio of torque to weight that was able to boost up the bike to 150 km per hour.

Now in the year of 2010, the team gathered the confidence and encouragement by the racing work, and made a strong decision to take part in United Kingdom’s first racing championship with electric motorcycle. Dodging the over confidence, Tork India remained stuck to Yamaha YZF R15 podium by accepting that the main key to success is the light weight and prevailing electric motorcycle. This year, the race machine got more powerful and managed to boost up the bike to the mark of 189 km per hour. This year too, India team was successful and was able to win the race.

The hard work and winning streak that has been seen in Tork India team proves that it is completely ready to face the cutthroat competition in the world of racing, which include some very big names, such as Electric Hussers and Motoczysz. The three guys, Ketan Mhasawade, Nishant Kalbhor and Kapil Shelke (system design head) are pretty confident to create waves in the racing world and make the country proud. In 2012, the Tork India team has taken a decision to have a little pause and develop the race machine further, but with so much of racing going on, they haven’t got time till now.
