Royal Enfield plans to produce 1 Lakh Bullets by 2012

Royal Enfield, India's leading cult Bullet market leader, is targeting to increase their production capacity of around 1 lakh by 2012. The company most popular motorcycle brand, Bullet is getting excellent response from the auto market. The company was already launched two massive variants of Bullet in last year. All new variants are; Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 350 and Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 500.

 

Royal Enfield will invest more than Rs 80 crore to ramp up its production capacity at its Chennai Plant. Royal Enfield Marketing & Sales Head, Shaji Koshy opened the company's 11th Brand Store in the country in New Mumbai and announced the investment plans to scale up production. The company manufacturing capacity is rapidly increasing from few years back.

 

The Siddharth Lal-promoted company will be jacking up its capacity to over 60,000 units this current calendar year. "There is a long waiting period of six to eight months now for all the models," Koshy said, adding the waiting period is so long that we are forced to return the booking amount. The all new Bullet classic models price are Rs 98,086 and Rs.125,000  respectively.
