Revamped Royal Enfield Thunderbird coming soon

Royal Enfield is all set to upgrade its very popular Royal Enfield Thunderbird and the motorcycle might be launched by the end of the year. The Indian motorcycle maker is also working on bigger bikes in India that may come in 2013. The engine cc of these bikes would be 750cc and 1000cc. According to sources, the company may launch these bikes in 2013. If all goes well, Royal Enfield will able to compete with Harley Davidson bikes.



Royal Enfield had launched an upgraded version of Royal Enfield Thunderbird christened Royal Enfield Thunderbird Twinspark last year. The bike comes loaded with a 4 stroke, air cooled, single cylinder, OHV, Dual spark ignition engine with a heavy displacement of 346cc that pumps out top power of  19.8 bhp at 5250 rpm and cranks out a max torque of 28 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The motorcycle also houses self start, front disc brake and five speed gearbox.

A few days back, the company was also claimed to launch diesel bikes in India; the company may assemble this diesel engine in Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 350 cc or Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 500 cc.
