Mahinidra Stallio, the new and only one entry-level bike from Mahindra Two wheeler is hundred millions back in the race of two-wheeler sales in India since launch. The magic of Bollywood Start Aamir Khan could also not add flavour to the Stallio even after doing a lot of TV Ads and hard promotional activities.

All the 250 to 275 dealers could sold around 250 units of Mahindra Stallio last month. The company is providing above 80000 kms warranty for it. Only Mahindra Duro, Mahindra Rodeo and Mahindra Flyte are doing well to pump the sales figures up.

The Manindra Stallio is beaten by Honda CB Twister, Hero Honda Splendor and Bajaj Discover which are having almost same power engine and features. As per media reports, its competitor and similar Honda CB Twister is running in waiting period of 3 months in Mumbai.

Mahindra Two wheelers has dispatched almost 1706 units of the bike according to SIAM but there is not confirmed reports about the sold units. The bike is priced at Rs. 41199 (Ex- showroom Mumbai) which is 5000 less than CB Twister but unable to attract buyers.

The company has paid Rs. 14 crore to Aamir for promotional activities but there is no response from market. Now Mahindra Two wheeler is planning to capture rural areas to create some demand for the bike.

At present Mahindra two wheeler is competing with Honda, Hero Honda and Bajaj two wheelers. Apart from Stallio, the company is also ready to launch 300cc bike named Mahindra Mojo 300cc to attract customers.
