HMSI, the 100 percent subsidiary of Japan based Honda Motors, is ready to enter in Used Bikes Business to grab the Indian two wheeler market. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India is doing well in Indian market with the launch of advanced featured bikes and scooters. The company is,now, going to launch Honda CBR 250R and getting booking orders for the bike.

HMSI, after getting good response from its reliable and international vehicles, is now trying to fight with Hero Honda's used bikes purchase and sale programme with this Used bike project . The company has started a trial study through its Bangalore, Mumbai and Ahmedabad based dealers. In this programme, the company will make direct deal with customers to sale and purchase Honda bikes and scooters.

To beat the other key player, HMSI has targeted to get 5 million units sales per annum within a short time of 5 years. At present, the company is producing 1.55 million units of two wheeler at its current plant. By the second half of next year, its Rajasthan based second manufacturing plant will be operational and the total production capacity will be around 2.2 million annul.

HMSI is planing to produce 250cc bikes in India as Honda CBR 250R which is the latest bike by company; for it the company is planing to setup its third facility at Andhra Pradesh by the end of this year.
