Eicher Motors to launch new facility

Eicher Motors, owner of Royal Enfield, is planning to launch a new production facility in Tamil Nadu or Hyderabad. The Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 350 cc and Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 350 cc are the latest motorcycles by the company. Both the bikes has got buzz popularity in the market and running in waiting period of 8 to 10 months.



Now the company is planning to grow its production capacity with the launch of new facility. The new facility will be launched within six months. Already, it has invested 25 crores to increase 20 percent production capacity.

The company wants to spread its wings in overseas market and going to set up a facility in Brazil to capture the Latin America, Africa and the Middle East countries because its sales rate has down in Europe and US. To cover good position in UK and US, the company had recently launched Royal Enfield Fury with new body design and features.

This year the company might touch 70000 units mark with turnover of 500 crore. After the launch this new facility, it will be capable to provide vehicles according to demand. Royal Enfield is also reported to launch a diesel bike by the end of 2012.
