Bangalore ranks second in the sales of superbikes

Indian's love for the Super bikes is increasing day by day which could be known by the fact that a large number of super bikes are running on the Indian roads being Mumbai and Pune leading with a greater number followed by Bangalore and Delhi. The heavy superbikes with their style and speed are attracting a large number of customers and thus increasing the demand. These bikes are accompanied with efficient engines that provide its users with eloquent power and great speed.

               
Usually the engine of 500 cc and more are inculcated to these bikes. One in every three super bikes sold goes to Mumbai-Pune making them to rank first in super bikes sales. Till now Bangalore and Delhi, standing second acquires a total of 50 superbikes from Suzuki Motorcycles and 80 bikes have been sold in Mumbai-Pune region. Possessing a total 35 superbikes from Yamaha, Mumbai-Pune region again stand first being Bangalore the second selling 19 bikes and Delhi third with a sale of 14 Yamaha Super bikes.

Being expensive with a price tag of Rs. 6 lakh and above, the bikes are experiencing inflated sales as the amount of these super wonders hardly matter to the ones looking for style and speed. Bangalore alone accounts a sale of 200 bikes acquiring a share of 20 percent. The brands like the Harley Davidson, Yamaha, Hero Honda, etc are busy increasing their production capacity facing increasing demands. As the Bangalore city stands second with the sales, Harley recently inaugurated its dealership in the city that is to make available 12 of the company's models with accessories of Harley brand.

The main reason for increasing sales of sports bikes in Bangalore is that people there are well acknowledged about theses bikes being working with multinationals. The owners of superbikes in the city include doctors, engineers, HR heads and some other professionals as well as businessman. Also the youngsters are just crazy for the speedy and powerful bikes and love to be its rider.
