Honda stunned Indian moto freaks with the release of CBR150R. The machine caters to the young generation of the country who carry a strong racing instinct in their blood. It is the second premium sports bike in India after Yamaha YZF-R15 which employ such racing style and dynamics.
Honda CBR150R gets its power from a 149.4cc, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, SI engine which is mated to a six-speed transmission system. The mighty Honda mill delivers a peak power of 18.28bhp at 10,500rpm corresponding to a maximum torque of 12.66Nm at 8500rpm. The engine incorporates Programmed Fuel Injection System (PGM-Fi) that gives an improved fuel economy and assists reaching a top speed of 109kmph. The bike’s fuel tank has 13 liter of capacity.
Honda CBR 150R runs on 100/80-17 and 130/70-17 sized front and rear tubeless tyres respectively. The bike comes equipped with powerful 276mm front and 220mm rear disc brakes to pop-up some stoppies effortlessly. Honda CBR150R body is crafted beautifully on a diamond shaped chassis coupled with telescopic front forks and spring loaded hydraulic type rear monoshock.
The baby CBR incorporates a split-seat with an under-seat utility storage compartment. Cockpit of CBR150R comes with amber-backlit digital speedometer, analogue tachometer and twin tripmeters to provide full information to the rider.
