TVS Motors had brought TVS Star to compete with likes of Hero Honda, Bajaj and Yamaha. There are three variants under TVS Star brand viz. TVS Star, TVS Star City and TVS Star Sport. This flagship bike of TVS Motors did take back the company in the cut-throat entry-level bike market in India.

The top end-variant of TVS Star, TVS Star City, comes equipped with 109.7cc,CTVi, 4 stroke, air cooled, OHC engine. This upgraded engine belts out a top power of 6.1 kw at 7,500 rpm and pumps out a peak torque of 8.1 Nm at 5,000 rpm. TVS Star City uses 4 speed manual gearbox along with smooth handling clutch.

The higher-end variant of TVS Star range, TVS Star City has got advanced 2 step adjustable rear shocker with ride switch and conventional brakes. To adjust the shocker, a lever is provided for easy adjustment. The brakes are 130mm of dia which ensure quick halting. Like other bikes in the segment, it now sports self and kikc start options that promises instant start in any weather condition.

TVS Motors has added one more exciting feature in the TVS Star City that is mobile charger, you can charge your mobile handset while riding; the mobile charger is now very common to scooterettes in India. It is available in three attractive colours: purple, midnight black and flaming red. Now, the flagship bike of TVS, TVS Star City, looks much bolder with aerodynamic style, modern graphics, new speedo and trendy silencer. TVS Star City has got body colour at front fender, mask's panels, fuel tank, side panels and rear side panels. The rear view mirrors and rear grab rail are in black shade.

The all new TVS Star City looks stunning and seems as a new horse, thanks to its new features and design cues. The bike has got sporty graphics, added features, aerodynamic style and fuel efficient CVTi engine.

TVS Star City has been gifted with bold and beautiful front mask, it has body colour side panels that houses halogen type clear headlamp. The mask has got aerodynamic black tinted wind screen; front turn indicator are placed just either sides of the hood. TVS Star City has black colour rear view mirrors mounted on handlebars.

This time TVS Star City features new instrument panels in which speedometer, fuel gauge and other common indicators are fitted. There are two dial pods; one dial houses speedometer and the other features analogue fuel gauge, both the dials have backlit system. A rider switch is also added in the list of other new features for TVS Star City.

The TVS Star City has wider fuel tank decorated with a lot of modern graphics and company name sticker. The TVS Star sports very first mobile charger socket in industry that is located just behind the front left indicator. This help you a lot when you forget to recharge your mobile phone battery. The company also fitted it with comfortable seat which is wider and longer. A long rear grab rail is also attached to it for the pillion's comfort. Footpegs and footrest also come as standard comfort features.

TVS Star City boasts of stylish tail lamp cluster and bold rear cowl. Besides body match parts, the bike has been wrapped in black treatment, it includes engine and silencer. The muffler has been blessed with longer heat shield. TVS Star City comes with five spoke alloy wheels that becomes tradition in the biking world now.

The top-end TVS Star variant is available in three stunning hues viz. Purple, midnight black and flaming red. The body colour has been sprayed at front fender, petrol tank, rear and side panels along with side panels of hood.

TVS Star City has got modern graphics at fuel tank, rear and side panels. The fuel tank has 'TVS' sticker, side panels get model name and rear side panels sports 'CTVi' sticker.
