On 30th January 2015: Suzuki Motorcycles has launched the 2015 edition of its elegant 125cc scooter Swish. With new color scheme and graphics to flaunt, the scooter is launched at a Rs. 56,482 (on-road price, Delhi). A whole new instrument panel with analog speedometer and digital fuel gauge, dual trip meter, clock, oil change indicator, etc. enlightens the rider’s view. The color options offered by the manufacturer are Metallic Sonic Silver/Glass Sparkle Black (APT), Pearl Mirage White (YPA), Glass Sparkle Black (YYB) and Candy Dark Cherry Red/ Glass. On the other hand, it is powered by the same engine with zero change in the output and performance.

Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) updates its 125cc scooter Swish with bold graphics and pleasing color range. The manufacturer is now targeting young population with the new fancy model. A few new elements are also introduced with the machine that makes it more competitive. One of the new equipment is a whole new instrument cluster that sports analog speedometer, digital dual trip meter, service reminder, fuel level, time and oil change indicator.

Suzuki Swish 125 is the only scooter to flaunt a Blue lens position lamps & multi-reflector lights to charm the crowd. More comfort is organized with the longer and wider seat with a under seat storage capacity of 20 liter that can store a full size helmet plus a few more articles. Moreover, central locking with shutter key adds to the security of the scooter while maintenance free battery keeps an eye on the convenience of the rider.

Suzuki Swish 125 runs on the same 124cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, OHC engine with CVT transmission. Designed to perform ferociously, it is set to churn out a supreme power output of 8.58bhp at 7,000rpm with a top torque of 9.8Nm at 5,000rpm. With a motor to brag about, the fuel efficiency of the scooter is genuine, which is further aided with a 6 liter fuel tank capacity.

Suzuki Swish 125 is an enjoyable ride with telescopic front suspension and swing arm type spring loaded hydraulic damper rear suspension. The tyres that runs it are 90/100-10 inch tubeless, which are further supported by 120mm drum brakes. Dimensions of the machine are 1,780mm x 650mm x 1,140mm (l x b x h) with a wheelbase of 1250mm. With a minimum ground clearance of 160mm, it offers a seat height of 780mm and a kerb weight of 110kg.

    Till first 7000 km there were no complaints other than the main complaint the MILEAGE (35 kmpl)....but after that every fortnight it gave nightmares.....suddenly shutting down of engine while travelling....DON'T BUY IT..WASTE OF MONEY....even I hope suzuki knows it very well thats why they are not promoting it....have you seen any adds? read more
