Hyosung GV650 OverView
Aquila Pro GV650 is the second cruiser bike to make an entry in the Indian markets out of the camp Hyosung, the South Korean bike manufacturer. DSK Motowheels, which took over the Hyosung's operations in India, brought Hyosung ST7 for marking Hyosung's presence in India. Hyosung Aquila Pro GV650 will come through the CKD route to India and will be assmebled at Wai, Maharashtra. Hyosung GV650 is a perfect combination of high performance genes, extraordinary handling and noteworthy sporty styling work, which puts up an appealing cruiser. Some of the most remarkable features of this cruiser include belt drive, triple disc-brakes, adaptable foot pegs and is equipped with top class performance figures for giving a shiver to the current leaders like Royal Enfield and Harley Davidson.
Hyosung GV650 Designing
A royal attention has been paid by the Hyosung designers for making this cruiser an attractive bike. Each and every corner is clad in the right amount of chrome, though its not fully designed with chrome like the ST7. One can very easily say that the GV650 is one of the modern day marvels, which bring in latest advanced technology under one single unit. On the front, the bike poses a round chrome headlamp, which is the centre of attraction along with its wide handle bars, which give this cruiser and the rider a rich look. The acute character lines on the fuel tank blend in perfectly with rest of the edgy characteristics of the bike. The exhaust pipe is tipped off with chrome finish for giving in a glittering effect on the side profiles. On the rear, the tail light forms up the major attraction point of this bike, which houses 21 LEDs in the brake light. Thus, those who had never seen the Hyosung Aquila Pro GV650 earlier, would easily mistake it with a Harley-Davidson.
Hyosung GV650 Engine And Performance
Aquila Pro GV650 gets an astounding thundering exhaust grumble due to the presence of a 647 cc, liquid cooled, V-twin powerhouse which is also present in Hyosung GT650. This engine shocks when it comes up with whooping power and torque amounts. Hyosung GV650 engine is tuned perfectly for churning out a power of 74bhp at 9000 rpm and a peak torque amount of 62.1Nm at 7500 rpm. This V-twin engine is mated brilliantly with a wet, multiplate 5-speed gearbox and the gear ratios help in giving a smooth stride to this motorcycle for making it less irksome while riding it over the variable terrain. The engine revs up quite comfortably and doesn't't feel like as if you are dragging up a mammoth in the lower rev range.
Hyosung GV650 Braking And Handling
For riding this beast which is quite powerful, you need to have perfect braking mechanism for handling this beast easily. Thus, the GV650 is deployed with disc brakes at the both ends. The front tyre gets a 300mm double disc semi floating discs with 2 pistons calipers and a 270mm single disc with 2 pistons caliper on the rear for employing racing inspired braking mechanism so that this heavyweight come to an instant halt even at greater speeds. This cruiser is blessed with an exceptional handling mechanism for making the rider the sole controller. The forward set foot pegs with well cushioned seats and a wide handlebar make the GV650 a comfortable ride. But, its mainly the light and easy steering, stiff chassis type and a performer set of Bridges tone Battlax tyres. The perfect wheel size of 120/70 ZR18 mm on the front and 180/55 ZR17 mm on rear gives superb grip for keeping the bike glued on the roads especially on the wet and slippery surfaces. Thus, minimizing the risk of skidding during accidental hazards.
Hyosung GV650 Safety Features
Hyosung Aquila Pro GV650 offers an applaud able set of safety features. Suspension system forms up a major part of safety features for any bike. For giving. It carries along a telescopic shock absorber up on the front and a hydraulic double shock absorber on the rear tyre greets the front suspension system, for working perfectly hands in hand with the front tyre suspension system. This top class suspension system brings in jerks free ride experience to the rider and the pillion. The rider gets a fatigue less riding pleasure on long hour cruising raids on the highways. Besides this the bike has got a pass light switch which gives an extra safety assurance while driving through the killer traffic situations.
Hyosung GV650 Pros
Killer Appearance, Exceptional Comfort, Affordable price for a 650 cc cruiser
Hyosung GV650 Cons
A little heavy, minute vibrational jigs at higher rpm.
