The bike is powered by a 999.6cc, longitudinal 65° V-4 cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that comes paired with a six-speed cassette transmission. The fuel injected mill develops a supreme power of 184bhp at 12,500rpm with a peak torque of 117Nm at 10,000rpm. Furthermore, the gearbox has been assisted with a slipper clutch as well that avoids engine braking and loss of revs in case of aggressive downshifts.
Aprilia RSV4 runs on 120/70-ZR17 front and 200/55-ZR17 rear tubeless tyres with robust black alloy wheels. The suspension system comprises of Ohlins upside-down fully adjustable forks at the front and aluminium swing arm with Ohlins piggyback shock absorber with adjustable spring preload at the rear. The bike slows down with the help of dual 320mm disc brakes assisted with Brembo four piston callipers at the front and 220mm disc brake with Brembo twin piston calliper at the rear. Furthermore, a Bosch 9MP ABS unit with three mapping offers a superior braking with enhanced stability.
With body dimensions of 2,040mm x 735mm x 1,120mm (LxWxH), Aprilia RSV4 comes with a breathtaking front profile incorporating a stylish twin headlamp section with a central positioning light. The fuel tank is designed impressively that syncs well with the overall flow. The bike has a well-cushioned step-up, split seat that holds an enchanting appearance besides providing comfort to the rider and pillion. The rear end of the bike has a sharp tail lamp section that looks munificent with the artistically designed fender and clear lens turn indicators. The total kerb weight of the bike sums up to 181kgs and is fitted with a 18.5 liter fuel tank.
The instrumentation of the bike is plain and simple that comprises of a digital speedometer, tripmeter, fuel gauge and an analogue tachometer. Aprilia RSV4 receives many futuristic technical features such as aPRC system (Aprilia Performance Ride Control) that includes Traction Control (aTC), Wheelie Control (aWC), Launch Control (aLC). Bolted on a twin-spar aluminium frame, Aprilia RSV4 has body dimensions of 2,040mm x 735mm x 1,120mm (LxWxH). The front profile has a stylish twin headlamp section with a positioning light at the center. The clear lens turning blinkers are embedded impressively in the rear view mirrors. The full front fairing of the bike wraps it well in a supersport apparel. The dynamically crafted fuel tank gives broad shoulders to the bike and a good riding position to the rider. The bike has a sporty step-up seat offers comfort to the rider and pillion. With a wheelbase of 1,420mm, Aprilia RSV4 enables the rider to take on corners sharply with confidence. It has a fuel tank of 18.5 liter capacity that gives a good range without any halt.

Aprilia RSV4 gets its revs from a 999.6cc, longitudinal 65° V-4 cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that generates a peak power of 184bhp at 12,500rpm with a supreme torque of 117Nm at 10,000rpm. The mighty four-stroke motor comes mated to a six-speed cassette type gearbox and uses wet multiplate slipper clutch for power transmission. In addition, it is equipped with an advanced Aprilia Quick Shift electronic system (AQS) that enables easy gear shifting without any involvement of clutch.
Braking And Handling
The bike has been fitted with one of the best equipments in the world to avail a top notch performance from it. It progresses on 120/70-ZR17 front and 200/55-ZR17 tubeless tyres with elegant black alloy wheels. The fierce stopping power is imparted by dual 320mm disc brakes with Brembo four piston callipers at the front and 220mm disc brake with Brembo twin piston calliper at the rear. Furthermore, the braking becomes more precise and responsive with the incorporation of Bosch 9MP ABS unit with three mapping that works well in all conditions.

Moreover, the bike features an Aprilia Quick Shift electronic system (AQS) that gives the privilege to gear shift without using clutch. The Factory ABS version of RSV4 comes with some extravagant elements such as aPRC system (Aprilia Performance Ride Control) that includes Traction Control (aTC), Wheelie Control (aWC), Launch Control (aLC), all of which can be configured and deactivated independently. The Ohlins electronic steering damper adjusts the weight on the handlebar according to different speeds, thereby giving improved handling and stability.
