Yamaha YZF R15 One Make Race Round 3 Awaits You at Buddh International Circuit

Racing season has been started with the biggest racing event, Yamaha YZF R-15 One Make Race Championship-2013. Round 1 and Round 2 of the championship concluded successfully with an outstanding performance of the racers and a huge response from the audience. Now, the third round of the championship awaits you at Buddh International Circuit (Greater Noida) from 12th Sep to 15th Sep. So are you ready to witness the racers ruling the track?

Racing Sports has always been a part of Yamaha’s culture since the company’s incorporation. The story of R15 One Make Race Championship started in 2010 and after an overwhelming response, it became a tradition of the company. The current season of its races, "Yamaha R15 One Make Race Championship-2013" is a part of MMSC and FMSCI, Yamaha take the opportunity to invite you in the YZF R15 Class. The Yamaha R15 one make race championship is an open championship for both Yamaha and Non Yamaha customers having a valid driving license and a valid FMSCI (Federation for Motor Sports Club of India) Competition license.

Yamaha YZF R15

Riders below 22 years of age as on 1-1-2013 and have not won any race in any of the previous championship/ cup/ challenge/ series/ scheme conducted in India or abroad can participate in the Novice category. While the riders ageing above 22 years and has won any race in any previous championship/ cup/ challenge/ series/ scheme in India or abroad can participate in the Open category. Entries are limited to first 60 for the Novice category, while 20 for the Open category. Riders need to send entries along with entry fees Rs. 2000/- (Entry Fee for the first race of their Class ), have to reach Club office on or before Monday prior to the Race weekend. Late entries have to reach before12:00 Hrs. on Wednesday prior to race weekend. If they qualify they can pay further Entry Fee of Rs. 2000/- for the second race. Entry forms can be downloaded online or collected from the nearest Yamaha dealership.

All Participants must arrange Safety Riding Gears by themselves, which includes- Helmet (ISI or ISO Standard), Riding suit (Leathers), Riding gloves, Riding boots. Riders are not allowed to bring their own bikes, Yamaha YZF R15 Ver 2.0 modified with Daytona Racing Kit will be provided by India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. to selected entries. All bikes are prepared by IYM (As per FMSCI Supplementary regulation Group D i.e. Mass production Level) for the racing activity. Any modification or change of settings/adjustment in the vehicle will not be allowed to riders. Daytona Racing Kit presented by India Yamaha has been developed using the track racing experience of the experts. The kit includes Drive sprockets with gold chain, brake master cylinder with 6 step adjustable lever, racing camshaft, racing ECU, high throttle kit, stainless steel mesh brake hose front and rear, wave brake disk rotor, brake calliper support bracket, racing exhaust kit and sport front brake pads.

The winners of the each race will be awarded with the Cups and a price money according to the rank. The price money given per race will be as follows- 1st Prize: Rs. 7500, 2nd Prize: Rs. 5000, 3rd Prize: Rs. 2500. All the riders participating in Yamaha R15 One Make Race will be evaluated on the basis of their performance. The best performing riders would be given a chance to participate in the “YAMAHA ASEAN CUP RACE” to be held in different ASEAN countries every year.
