Volkswagen Introduces Electric Scooter- Last Mile Surfer

The popular four-wheeler brand- Volkswagen has recently introduced an electric scooter, christened as Last Mile Surfer. This new three-wheeled vehicle seems to be one of its kind, weighing just 11 kg and can be fitted into your car's boot.
The innovative scooter looks like an advanced version of the famous "Segway" and it can be used for your journeys after leaving the car at the parking. Due to its slim, foldable design, it is very convenient to carry and could be easily ridden through traffic.
The electric motor powering the Last Mile Surfer comes coupled with a lithium-ion battery pack, which provides it a range of 20 km after the full charge.
The Amazing Last Mile Surfer will go on sale in the UK by next year with an expected price tag of around £700 (Around Rs. 70,000). It is a unique product in the automotive industry and falls in the niche segment, so we can't expect its entry in India anytime soon.
