TI Cycles to launch new Pedelec by March

As the automobile industry is growing day by day, the TI cycles of India which is a part of Murugappa group is expecting its electric scooters and bicycles market to grow by 50 percent in the approaching year. The company is working hard upon its products making them efficient enough and environment friendly so as to make the beautiful Earth worth living. Noted that in India, the electric two-wheeler market is dominated by Avon, Hero Electric, Indus bikes. 

 

The company with electric vehicles along with its “Pedelec” which is a battery powered bicycle, is expecting to earn revenues up to Rs 30 crores in the current fiscal year and further increase it by 50 percent in next year. The company's Pedelec, a new bicycle which is to be launched in the month of March'2011 is packed with a 24 volt battery that assures to make the ride smooth and easy for the rider. The company is also hoping to receive Rs 4000 per bike subsidy from  the Ministry of Renewable Energy that will improve market of BSA electric scooters.

 

The new bike is provided youngster looks with stylish and sleek body graphics making it attractive enough to the country's young generation. The new bicycle is also made safer to ride and is completely environment friendly being tagged with a price range of Rs. 7000 to Rs. 12,000. Also the company incorporates the new cycle with an efficient battery made by Exide that if charged for 8 to 10 hours can last for a long distance of around 40 kms.
