Suzuki gets 78 percent growth in December 2010

Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. has reported sales growth of 78 percent in the month of December as compared to December 2009. Suzuki Motorcycle is one of the leading two-wheeler manufacturing company in India that has every segment bikes in it's stable from entry-level, commuter and superbikes in India.

 

The company has sold 25,837 units of two wheelers as compared to 14549 units in the same month of year 2009. This is a big achievement for the company this year. According to company the Suzuki Slingshot is doing well in the market and getting a great response. Other bikes which supported the sales include Suzuki GS 150R, Suzuki Access 125 (Scooter) while Suzuki GSX R and Suzuki Bandit are also attracting buyers.

 

The total sale of the Suzuki two-wheelers is 25,837 in December 2010 which is 2 percent more then last month; the total sales of November 2010 was 25439. 

 

After the split between Hero-Honda, the company hopes that its bikes sale will increase considerably and by the year of 2011, it will get respectable amount of market share. The present portfolio of the company comprises of Suzuki Gladius, Suzuki Gs, Suzuki Hayabusa, Suzuki Access and five variants of Suzuki Slingshot.
