A very good news for Royal Enfield bike lovers! Royal Enfield is working on twin cylinder 750cc and 1000cc bikes. According to sources, the company may launch these bikes in 2013. If all goes well, Royal Enfield will able to compete with Harley Davidson bikes.

The company is also believed to launch revamped Royal Enfield Thunderbird very soon. However, there is no specific details about upcoming bikes to be launched. A few days back, the company was also claimed to launch diesel bikes in India; the company may assemble this diesel engine in Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 350 cc or Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 500 cc.

It is to be noted that Royal Enfield had launched 736cc Interceptor in 1962 that got huge response from everywhere.

How authenthic is this news that RE is planning to launch twin cylinder 750 CC & 1000 CC Bikes...??? If this is true, then I would be eagerly waiting for the same to be launched. I hope that BULLET maintains it's original tumping engine sound, but Royal Enfield definitely needs more powerful engines to compete with Harley Davidson, (i.e. above 1000 CC engine ALSO), they also need to put more broad tyres, and more of electricals like Harley, i.e. seperate two multicolor lamps (which can be used as fog lamps also).
