Regal Raptor Launches Three Cruisers In India, Opens Its First Dealership In Hyderabad

The 25-year-old, Chinese motorcycle maker, Regal Raptor has finally arrived in the country with its three premium cruiser bikes namely: Daytona 350, Cruiser 350 and Bobber 350. Besides this, the company has also opened its first ever showroom located at Road Number 36, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, India.

As reported earlier, Hyderabad-based Fabulous and Beyond (FAB) are going to handle the sales operations, the company will offer the machines under the “Fab Regal Raptor” nameplate. The bookings have already started with a token amount of Rs. 50,000 and the range starts at Rs. 2.96 lac (ex-showroom price, Hyderabad).

Regal Raptor Motorcycles has its presence in 39 countries across the globe. Aiming at its domestic operations, the company also plans to set up a production facility in Telangana with an investment of Rs. 1000 crores. The new facility will also help in serving several other countries including Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman and Yemen.

All three bikes are powered by the same 320cc, water-cooled, four-stroke engine that comes paired with a five-speed transmission system. The mill churns out a peak power of 22.79bhp at 8,500 rpm along with a net torque of 22Nm at 6,500rpm. With this motor, the machines sprint from 0 to 60kmph in mere 3.5 seconds and hits a top speed of 130kmph. While the stopping power is offered by 300mm front and 240mm rear disc brakes, a set of reliable telescopic forks have been fitted at both ends to carry out the suspension duties efficiently and effectively.

Let's take a quick review of the three cruiser bikes offered by the manufacturer:

Regal Raptor Daytona 350: The bike comes with highly raised handlebar and chrome finish on the engine and exhaust. It has body dimensions of 2,280mm x 895mm x 1,110mm (LxWxH) and has a minimum ground clearance of 140mm. It weighs 180kgs and is fitted with a 15-liter fuel tank.

Regal Raptor Bobber 350: This one is built on an offbeat cruiser bike concept and is crafted with minimum bodywork. The bike sports a solo saddle and matte paint finish that look stunning. The overall body measurements are 2,135mm x 825mm x 1,140mm (LxWxH) with a wheelbase of 1,085mm. Being the most lightweight of three, the bike has a total kerb weight of 165kgs and comes with a 14-liter fuel tank.

Regal Raptor Cruiser 350: Also known as DD350E Spyder, the bike is purely built on an American chopper concept and is the longest of three with body dimensions of 2,600mm x 870mm x 1,100mm. The majestic features of the bike include a small chiseled fuel tank, long travel forks and robust alloy wheels, all with chrome treatment.
