Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd (MTWL), which is a part of the $16.9 Billion Mahindra enterprise, recently revealed its sales report for the month of July. The company registered a ten percent growth in July 2015, in comparison to last year. Statistics reveal an overall sale of 15,056 units, out of which 12,708 units were sold domestically.

The remaining 2,348 units were exported, this presented a whopping 77 percent increase in the company’s exports, in comparison to July 2014.

In 2014, Mahindra was featured in the Forbes Global 2000, a comprehensive listing of the world’s largest and most powerful public companies. The list is quantified by revenue, profit, assets and market value. In 2013, The Mahindra Group also received the Financial Times ‘Boldness in Business’ Award in the ‘Emerging Markets’ category.

Mahindra Two Wheelers offers its trustworthy and reliable two-wheeler lineup in the country that comprises of three impressive models viz. Centuro, Gusto and Rodeo. However, the company discontinued its four other models, earlier this month due to poor unit sales. With a handful of products left in its portfolio, time will only tell if the decision of dropping these four products at once, proved to be fruitful or not.
To be even more competitive and sharp in the market, Mahindra might launch some refreshing two-wheelers that can prove to be a game-changing factor by enhancing sales domestically and internationally.
