Mahindra Two Wheelers Register 16,589 Unit Sales during August 2015

Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd (MTWL), which is a part of the USD 16.9 Billion Mahindra Group, recently announced its sales number for the month of August 2015. The company’s total unit sales stood at 16,589 units. Out of these, the domestic sales saw a figure of 14,356 units while 2,233 units were shipped out of India. The export numbers witnessed an impressive 57 percent growth as compared to the corresponding month last year i.e. August 2014. 

Mahindra Two Wheelers currently sells four products in the country that comprises of three scooters and one motorcycle namely Gusto, Rodeo, Duro and Centuro. Mahindra Gusto is proudly the first and only scooter in India to come with an adjustable seat. Besides this, it comes with a host of other fascinating features as well such as a remote flip key, guide lights and find me lamps. On the other hand, Mahindra Centuro is a 106.7cc commuter motorcycle that is available in five variants to suit the requirements of common mass.

Recently, the 300cc naked street bike by the company christened as Mahindra Mojo is gaining publicity extensively due to its repeated appearances, either as spied shots or as short first ride reviews. The bike is expected to arrive anytime soon and the company has already started bookings for the same. Mahindra Mojo might come with a price tag of Rs. 1.6 lac to Rs. 1.7 lac (ex-showroom).
