The KTM, one of the expert company in producing the world class bikes, is to visit the Indian market soon with its all new and dynamic KTM Duke 125. The bike is been accomplished with sporty and aggressive looks so as to impress a large number of the Indian youngsters. The company commits to make this launch in the early months of the approaching year. The first display of the bike took place at the International Bike Show, the Milan in the year 2009.
The KTM bike is on its way to completion at the Bajaj's Chakan plant. The bajaj being a stake of the KTM provides the Austrian company the facility to accommodate its products at the Bajaj's plant. The new bike from the KTM is supposed to be priced at Rs. 1 lakh or above.
The bike with astonishing sporty looks is to be packed with an engine capacity of 125 cc with dual exhaust mufflers. The new KTM Duke 125 is designed by the same team which earlier worked on the KTM 690 Duke. The 4 stroke engine is of DOHC type with the liquid cooling technology. The 5 Speed Transmission present to the bike assures the rider with easy shifting of gears as and when required. The model is been equipped with latest and most enhanced technologies that provide a good power and torque to it.
The dynamic bike is expected to prove to be a very good performer and fuel efficient as well with a fuel capacity of approximately 13 litre and 2.5 litre of reserve capacity. The fuel efficiency of the bike measures to be of 30 kmpl. Talking for the brake system of the model, it assures high performance brakes being accomplished with the Front and Rear Disc brakes. Also the high suspension level of the bike is made to absorb maximum shocks being that of the Large-travel Telescopic kind of suspension at the front. The light weight body structure is designed to deal with high speed. The bike with alloy kind of wheels possess a maximum power of 20 PS.
